Presenter Information

Instructions For Oral Presenters
1. Presentation Instructions:
- If you are an early morning speaker (before the first break), please secure or check your presentation on the conference computer, or plug in your computer, before the conference begins. This can be done between 7:15am – 8:15am the morning you are scheduled to present.
- If you are a mid-morning speaker, please secure or check your presentation on the conference computer, or plug in your computer, during the morning break.
- If you are an afternoon speaker, please secure or check your presentation on the conference computer, or plug in your computer, during the lunch break.
- If you are a late afternoon speaker, please secure or check your presentation on the conference computer, or plug in your computer, during the late afternoon break.
- Please sit within the first two rows of the auditorium.
- Please save your presentation as a PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 and provide a memory stick or CD with your presentation.
- If you are bringing your presentation on a Mac, please bring the VGA output adapter that came with the computer. Please also bring a back up presentation on a memory stick or CD as a PDF or Powerpoint 2003 to be safe.
2. There will be an AFM BioMed staff to assist you at all times.
3. We will have two lavaliere microphones for speakers. While the person ahead of you on the agenda is presenting, please come up to the staging area to the left of the stage to have a lavaliere microphone pinned on by an AFM BioMed staff so that you will be ready to present once their talk is over.
4. Remember that our schedule is tight each day. Please limit your talk to 15 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions and answers.
