Why TWO registration steps?
The first step concerns the mandatory Registration Fee of the conference which includes:
all scientific sessions, conference material with Book of Abstracts, transportation from Zagreb or Pula or Trieste.
The second step concerns hotel ISTRA package which includes: accommodation, meals and beverages, coffee breaks, Welcome Party, Conference Gala dinner, boat-trips Rovinj-Red Island, car parking in Rovinj, Internet.
Do Invited Speakers have to register?
YES. All participants must register.
Visa to travel. How do I obtain a letter of invitation?
Last day for conference registration
The last day for online conference registration is Friday, April 23rd, 2010. On-site registration will be available during the Conference. You can not pay after you attend the conference.
Registering and paying on-site
On-site, AFM BioMed Conference will accept cash only. Paying by bank transfer is highly recommended.
Changing hotel package
To amend your registration (e.g. add Training Day participation, purchase extra night, add a guest, etc.), please contact the conference register at events.istra@maistra.hr.

Special dietary
Please indicate your request on your registration form prior to the conference. On-site requests may not be able to be filled due to limited timeframes.
Cancelling registration fee (step 1)
Cancellation must be received in writing by April 15th, 2010 and mailed to Information AFM BioMed. There is a 100€ cancellation fee after April 15th, 2010.
Cancelling hotel package (step 2)
"ISTRA Hotel Package reservations" can be cancelled via fax or E-mail no less than 7 days prior to arrival. In case of no show or in case of cancellation 7-0 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of 1 overnight per person in selected accommodation will be charged.
Passports and Visas
Participants are advised to check on their individual requirements before attending AFMBioMed Conference meeting. Visa applications should be filed at the nearest Croatian Embassy in the country in which you are resident, at least two months prior to the anticipated departure date.
Liability and Insurance
Neither the organizers, nor the AFMBioMed Conferences will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during meeting period. Participants are advised to arrange their own personal travel and health insurance.
