Barcelona

Touristic information

A very special city

Barcelona is a very vanguard city, great architecture richness, diverse, cosmopolitan and plural. Open to innovation, culture, architecture and design. It coexists with two thousand years of history making of Barcelona a very special city.

Languages

In Barcelona, the official languages are Catalan and Castilian. The two languages coexist in a bilingual situation similar to that found in many other parts of the world. Barcelona is a gateway open to harmonious coexistence and dialogue between the different languages. The importance of tourism and the city’s historic role as a point of encounter between cultures means that other languages, such as English, French, Italian, Portuguese, German and various regional forms of Arabic, together with a number of Asian languages, are also regularly heard in the streets.

Tourism

Barcelona is a nice place for lissure and shopping, arround Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal you will find the most important designers like Armani, Yves Saint-Laurent, Burberry’s, DKNY, Chanel, Vasari, Vuitton, Loewe, Cartier, Bulgari, Valentino...

It is also full of artisans and markets, Art Galleries, and good gastronomy. A nice and cosmopolitan nightlife in clubs and restaurants. A very special, beautiful and warm weather city to enjoy.
